Consumer rights

Join us for NSW Law Week 2025, a week dedicated to helping you understand your rights, the law, the legal system, and the legal profession. This year, Canterbury-Bankstown Libraries, in partnership with the Justice Support Legal Centre, is hosting a special presentation on consumer rights, followed by a Q&A session.

The presentation will cover:

  • What are your consumer rights under the law?

  • Which goods and services are protected under the law?

  • What can you do if there is a problem with the goods and services you purchase?

  • Where can you get legal help?

There will also be a pop-up stand to get information about the services offered by the Justice Support Legal Centre.
