Walk for Justice
Walk for Justice NSW (W4J) is an annual community event that brings together the legal profession and supporters of social justice to celebrate and strengthen access to justice in Australia.
Held on National Pro Bono Day during Law Week, the event highlights the vital role that pro bono legal work plays in supporting vulnerable communities, including refugees and people seeking asylum.
Participants from law firms, corporate organisations, and the wider community come together to walk through Sydney’s CBD in a shared show of solidarity—recognising the thousands of hours of pro bono work contributed each year and raising funds to support critical legal services.
The event also serves as a platform to raise awareness of the ongoing need for accessible legal support, helping to build a fairer and more compassionate society.
Whether walking as a team or individually, participants join a growing movement committed to advancing justice and making a tangible impact.
